Travel Bursaries

35 World Congress Travel Awards of up to US$1000 each are available from ISHR International for young investigators from the ISHR European Section (ISHR-ES) who fulfill the following requirements:

1. Each applicant must be a subscribing member of the ISHR-ES by January 1, 2010.
2. Recipients must be within 6 years of their terminal degree at the time of the ISHR2010.
3. Recipients must personally present an abstract at ISHR2010, where the awards will be given.

Applications should include:

• Confirmation of your subscription status;
• Copy of certificate from the Head of the Laboratory confirming eligibility, with detail of stage of career;
• Copy of the accepted abstract.

and be sent to Prof. Barbara McDermott (b.mcdermott@qub.ac.uk), ISHR-ES Secretary, to arrive no later than Friday 12 February 2010.

“XXX ISHR European Section Meeting”

26 - 29 June 2011, Haifa, Israel

Preliminary Announcement

The 2011 meeting is being organized by Michael Arad, Moshe Flugelman and Amir Landesberg from the Israeli sub-section. The scientific sessions will take place over three days, with a half-day local sightseeing opportunity and then an optional post-conference trip to Jerusalem on the 30th.  This will be a customary and focused basic science meeting, with ample time for free communications.

Details of the scientific programme will be posted later in the year.
